For they shall inherit the earth!!!!!!!!!

Bless'ed Are the Meek are, at the very least, trying to inherit the look. They are fashion loving and believe they create looks that inspire confidence and many styles are inclined to make a statement or show individualistic style. Yet each collection contains sexy styles for the daring and styles for the more refined dresser. However they are capable of designing a sophisticated and sexy look that can help transform many shapes and forms, so don’t be afraid to try out their sexy looks.

These sophisticated cuts and the sexy detailing can transpire from day to night from flats to heels and include styles from cocktail dresses, daywear,  tops to skirts and pants. They pride themselves on the effortless wearing of these amazing styles and the angular lines, layers and draping of some styles can be figure friendly for those of us who aren’t catwalk models.

Since their arrival on the fashion scene back in 2003 Bless’ed Are The Meek have made their presence known globally and are often represented in Grazia magazine, the Fashion journal, Girlfriend magazine, Cosmopolitan and David Jones magazine and that is just this year alone.

They have monthly drops of season conscious collections which are influenced by the fabrics and unusual detailing they find from their global treks. Put this together with their unique prints, colours  and designs and you have what is coming close to inheriting the fashion scene.

Take a look at some of their collection from Autumn/winter 2012 and you will notice the fabulous detailing and shiny, silky, metallic fabrics coupled with their spectacular prints and colourful winter knits.

The Label SUMAKHI

The Label

If you haven't noticed already SUMAKHI has featured in various publications now. Publications such as Cleo, Cosmopolitan, Madison and Shop til u drop. Sumakhi was launched in 2005 by the Australian designer Jayne Leslie, who after graduating in 2003 started her career with likes of Sass & Bide and Alice Mccall, until, with enough experience behind her, and the desire to create, began her own label. Jayne began her solo career with the attitude that "Fashion is ever changing and requires continual updating" She releases 4 collections a year to a flow in with the changing seasons. Sumakhi's fabric choice includes luxurious silks, the colours range from turquoise, fuchsia, fluoro, neon and electric blues to  warm, hazy, charcoals and blacks. the fabrics incorporate these colours with unique prints and graphics that include zebra prints, stripes,  swirling, abstract and bright futuristic neon or a kaleidoscope of colours. The shapes can be described as loose fitting, drapey, slouchy or ethereal and can be forgiving to various figure types . Many of the pieces in the collections would be considered ageless, however Sumakhi likes to see women feel sexy and confident and some of the styles will encourage that daring confident style and individual pieces can move from day to night.  Sumahki wants her wearer to feel unique and exclusive which is why the label is found mainly in selected special boutiques but coupled with a reasonable price point. Anxiously waiting on her winter 2012 range Please hurry..........

The label PHARD

Phard is described in Europe as one of the coolest and trend setting Italian brands. It offers a wide range of denim, clothing, knitwear, leather goods, shoes and accessories. The brand is largely influenced by "what's hot" NOW! Phard speaks to a young, determined and high demanding public. Each new collection reflects the taste for seeking unusual solutions and the capacity to combine continuity and renewal and it is so that the brand's typical freedom and freshness is achieved. Phard combines the Italian focus on good quality fabric and product technology with some of the most competitive prices on the market. At the moment, the production amounts to more than four million pieces of clothing a year. Fabrics are sourced in Italy, where the production is also carried out. Only the best quality fabric is selected and the attention to details is paramount. Phard has two main collections per year, Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer. They also have two small Flash collections as Taste Testers for the up and coming larger seasonal collections. The opening of stores in the most important European cities (Paris, Berlin, Barcelona) in 2005 marked the internationalization of the group. There are many Mono-stores throughout Italy, France, Germany, Cyprus, Spain and Ukraine where it continues to grow in popularity. In addition there is a fast moving presence in London where the company spent a considerable amount of money in 2010 placing advertisement in 50 prime locations. It has only recently made its way to Australian shores and at this stage can only be found in one location in High Street Armadale where it is starting to make its mark on Australian soil. The label intself does not have an online store but the from what I hear the current Australian store, that carries this label, will be starting an online store to try and spread this great label further around Australia and to those remote fashionista's.

Spring Has Just About Sprung!

My daughter (Gaby) and I are about to embark on our first blog special, over the next few days we are going to look for some great and not so great fashion for the Australian Spring 2011. The outcome should be interesting considering our age difference BUT just because I'm too old to wear some great outfits doesn't mean I will overlook them and at the same time fashion for teenagers is a fickel area. It's hard to find a teenager who is mature  about their fashion choice and it takes a strong confident teenager to make a choice that makes them an individual but in a classy way. I feel my Gaby is one of these people, so lets see what we both come up with for our individual representation of Spring 2011.
